Bokamosa’s mission is to care for the vulnerable and underprivileged children in Gauteng, South Africa. They do this by teaching children the risks of sex trafficking (the children they help are the most targeted) as well as various self-defense techniques. They also teach the kids fun ways of staying fit and healthy and off the street. All around the province in numerous areas, groups of 30-40 children meet on Saturday mornings to practice their dances and exercise with a Bokamosa volunteer.
However, many children live in informal settlements, where is no electricity or places to plug in speakers for music to dance to and work out to…thus a portable speaker was greatly needed. We were delighted to be able to finally receive the funds needed to buy a “party portable speaker” …with up to nine-hour of battery life we now have the ability for a lot more moving & grooving! 🤸🏾♂️🎉
With this speaker, many more children can be reached in parks, informal settlements, and even schools! So grateful to all our sponsors who made this gift possible!
