Meet George… he is awesome! He grew up in one of the largest townships in Gauteng and experienced the hardships of life in those areas. So when he saw how certain children in townships and informal settlements were getting targeted for sex trafficking, he took action to help educate them, using his skills as a fitness instructor.
He now goes to drop-in and orphan centers each month, and working alongside a life coach, helps teach vulnerable and orphaned children how to be aware of dangers, defend themselves and on the fun side learn to exercise to stay healthy and off the streets! 👊🏻 He also finds much-needed donations of food and toiletries to help the kids in need.
This month we teamed up with him and with the help of some amazing friends and family members, we were able to purchase some much-needed toiletries and hygiene supplies for thirty-five children as well as supply food for over 100 children participating in the day’s activities! It was awesome to receive a delicious donation of cupcakes from Jessie’s Treats…each cupcake held an encouraging or inspirational message… “believe you can, you are loved, you are special…”!
