“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. (Psalm 139 :13-18)
The children we love on, are often not nurtured and encouraged by those around them. We wanted them to know without a shadow of a doubt that they were special, created by a God who loves them and designed them uniquely. So unique in fact that they all have different iris patterns, handprints, and fingerprints! The children were amazed as they looked at their handprints and the fact that they were special registered with them.
They had a blast painting their hands and making a copy of their handprint…pink was a very popular color! We did this activity with around 70 children and each time we felt the Lord urge us to confirm with each child that they are indeed uniquely created by Him!
