It was awesome to reconnect with some of the Hlanganani children once again. We love getting together with them each month (different ages come at different times during the month) to hear how they are doing and teach them about God’s love for them.
This year we are moving away from basic mentorship of the children to more focused discipleship. This is the only time many of them hear about the Lord as so we feel it is imperative to use the time as wisely as possible, raising up children for His Kingdom with a clear knowledge of their identity in Him!
During our group this month, we focused on them hearing the Holy Spirit, through words or drawings. The kids all participated with eagerness and are thirsty to be able to hear from God themselves. It is wonderful to see them grow in this area. Our friend also joined us with her guitar and we were able to sing some praise songs in isiZulu!
