Easter weekend arrived and we had all our boxes ticked! We were ready for an “egg-stravagant Easter” with the Bokamoso kids.

Upon arriving at our location, the kids were all there ready and waiting, dressed in their best Bokamoso outfits and ready for some fun. We were blessed by the performance of an Easter song and skit they had been practicing for the day. Their voices sang in perfect harmony.
We gifted all the children with a short gospel book about Jesus (a comic book created by The Action Bible), which they loved listening to and also reading by themselves. After explaining the true meaning of Easter, we prayed with the children to receive Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. We felt the Holy Spirit confirm that five children had given their lives to Him for the first time. What a wonderful Easter gift!
Fiona (@Jessietreats) had been slaving away from the early morning hours to prepare a lovely, hot Easter meal – consisting of chicken, rice, pap, and a delicious meat sauce. We all relished it…the silence in the room as everyone ate, spoke for itself!
The children then had a blast looking for Easter egg hunts all over a nearby playground. Afterward, they had dance competitions and showed off their latest workouts and dances to all watching. The day ended with the children receiving some nice hot cross buns to enjoy.
