Extraordinarily ordinary:
In an extraordinary month, we have been blessed to be able to show God’s love to those around us in ordinary, everyday ways. Helping single mom’s homeschool their children, grocery shopping for those sick at home, supplying groceries to those who have lost their regular income due to the lockdown, drawing pictures and making crafts to bring smiles to the elderly without relatives near them, counseling young couples, etc… all made possible due to your continued support of our ministry – thank you!
Lockdown = Storytime!
As all the schools, orphanages, etc. closed mid-March and we have been placed on “lockdown”, we have been afforded a unique opportunity to focus on an area that often gets pushed to the back-burner. Our ministry encompasses a four-fold mission and one specific area is that of “written communication”. Specifically, using the medium of fictional short stories, novelettes, and novels we strive to communicate the gospel message as well as the importance of discipleship and loving those around you. In case you were wondering …these stories are available for free on our website: Free Stories! Fun fact: Over 500 copies of these stories have been downloaded.
During our “lockdown” time we have been working on editing the sequel to “Gunslinger’s Guide to the Gospel” and well as starting on the final book of the trilogy. Books we pray will bring salvation, hope, and joy to those who read them.

Other Areas of Ministry…
We have also had the time to completely update the St. John’s Orphans & Outreach website… lots of new pages, photos and information have been added. Take a moment, to check it out at stjohnorphans.org!
Our Home Church is going well, with new people visiting each week. We are currently doing online home church gatherings and staying connected to everyone through regular conversations, recorded messages, and Whatsapp.
