We would like to introduce you to an amazing man of God… Mr. Lucky! No matter what life throws this man (and he has gone through quite a lot!), he keeps smiling, a living testimony of the joy of the Lord being his strength. In August, many thousands of families were affected as people lost their income due to the COVID-19 Lockdown in South Africa, Lucky’s family was one of these families affected.
However, God is a God of incredible provision… one of our amazing supporters blessed us with extra funds this month and we immediately felt that the monies were not just for us, but also a chance to bless and serve others. After praying, Ryan felt to ask our friend Lucky how things were at home. As his wife had lost her job at the local hospital and had not been able to find a new one, life was tough for them. Lucky asked for some help for food until the end of the month, but after praying about it, we felt God led us to give him a specific amount. That evening, we received a message from his wife. The amount we gave was exactly what they needed to pay their bills and keep their children in school. Praise God that He always takes care of His children!
“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Luke 6:38
