A Computer Celebration

//  by grayfamilymissions//  Leave a Comment

When we began working with St. John the Divine Orphans and Outreach in December 2018, all forty staff, including the Program Director were sharing three old computers. They were in desperate need of new ones, in order to get all of their reports done in time.

They also desired additional computers so that they could train the children on how to use them, thus benefiting their lives from an educational standpoint as well as giving them a greater opportunity for employment.

The Lord opened up an opportunity with a friend of ours who works with Investec Bank Limited in Sandton, S.A. After applying to Investec’s computer donation initiative in December, we knew that if we were granted the five computers we requested, we would probably have a long wait ahead before they were provided.

However, last week (end of February), we were informed that for some unknown reason our request was bumped up ahead of others and a large amount of computers had just been pulled off the line for donation!

Not only did we receive all five computers requested, but also in an incredibly short amount of time!

God is so faithful and knows all of our needs, even the electronic ones!
